Rip Roaring Good Time
Our 2020 Michael Chapman Memorial Golf Classic was the best yet. On Monday, October 20th, 2020 we returned to the luscious and vibrant Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club in Fort Washington, PA for 18 holes benefiting the youth of Philadelphia. This tournament, presented by Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, as always, was an opportunity to enjoy friends, beautiful weather, and fantastic food. Our supporters and their foursomes basked in the brisk, beautiful Fall weather while helping to honor the memory of our friend and longtime champion of local youth, Michael Chapman. With exciting raffle prizes and recognition for the winners, there was no better way to show how much they cared about our mission and have some fun while doing it.
This year, as with every year, the Chapman Automotive Group was prepared to award a car to whoever scored a hole-in-one on either of our designated holes. Unfortunately, no one took home a new car. However, there were some close drives, the closest being 12 feet away from the hole. Close, but no cigar!
This fantastic day concluded with a delicious dinner with time for catching up with old friends. Our 2020 Chapman Cup was awarded to the team from Standard Digital Imaging, comprised of Jack Branka, Kerry Fitzpatrick, John Branka Jr., and Stephanie Turzanski. They finished with a score of 56, 15 points under the course’s par.
As always, we give thanks to the Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club for welcoming all of us for an amazing time, as well as to everyone who helped on the day of the event. This exciting outing may have just ended, but we can’t wait for next years tournament!
