Germantown Club Childcare Program has moved forward in the next stages of the Pennsylvania Keystone Stars Program

On Wednesday February 16, 2005 two analysts from KURC visited the Germantown Boys & Girls Club to rate the quality of the program. After a thorough, day- long evaluation, they both agreed that the program at Germantown provided a service that was undoubtedly deserving of their 3rd star. With only 1/100 of a point away from a star 4. Below we have listed our scores out of a highest score of 7.

Keystone Stars

Overall Score – 5.24
Language & Reasoning – 6.25
Activities – 6.20

The Germantown childcare program has been apart of the Keystone Stars since 2003, and in this short time they have received Stars 1 & 2 twice. With the grant awards that were attached to these achievements, they were able to obtain the materials, training, and equipment needed to enhance the center’s overall environment. With hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to the program Ms. Georgianna and Ms. Sherelle have been able to overcome some great odds.

We should all acknowledge Germantown’s continued efforts in operating a childcare program that demonstrates quality and excellence.
