Mr. Jarred Fogle spokesperson for the Subway Food Chain,
visited the Germantown Boys & Girls Club to discuss healthy eating &
living habits with the summer campers. He reminded the campers of the
importance of eating healthy foods and making healthy decisions. The kids were amazed at the size of Jarred’s
old pants, as he told the story of how he overcame obesity, noting that he once
weighed over 400 lbs. Today he is slim and trim, but most importantly he is in
good health.
Triple Play, sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and Kraft Foods Inc., is a dynamic
wellness program currently being offered in Boys & Girls Clubs that
demonstrates how eating right, keeping fit and forming positive relationships
add up to a healthy lifestyle.
