Showcase Highlight: Cappuccio’s Meats

We are so happy that the Italian Market favorite, Cappuccio’s Meats, will be returning as a vendor for our 2017 Showcase of Wine & Cheese & Beer. Cappuccio’s Meats is no stranger to our Showcase as they are a longtime vendor. Their Italian sausages match perfectly with the decadent wines that will be served at our Showcase in May. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Italian Market favorite, the first in a series of Wine & Cheese Highlights in the weeks leading up to our event!

Cappuccio’s Meats specialized in hot and mild sausages since first opening their doors in the South Street Italian Market in 1920 under the ownership of Domenico Cappuccio, whose legacy lives on today through his family and his generous support to thecommunity.

While the store is known and loved for its sausages, Cappuccio’s also carries rare delicacies: Porchetta, Sides of Goat, Crown Roasts of Pork and Shoulder of Lamb. While they cite Pork Broccoli Rabe Sausage as their most popular offering, the personal favorite of the owners is their Grilled Spinach and Provolone Sausage. Look for these offerings and more on Friday, May 19, 2017 at our Philly Showcase of Wine & Cheese with the addition of beer this year! Tickets are $60 in advance and $65 at the door!
